 Mr.Tawfiq Abu Soud MD.Drake & Scull Water & power |
Mr. Tawfiq Abu Soud is an Executive board member of DSI PJSC.
With over 25 years experience in the oil, gas and MEP contracting field, Mr. Tawfiq Abu Soud has built, diversified and expanded divisions and departments across several companies. He was previously responsible of the MEP operations with Jordan-based Manco Contracting WLL and is currently Executive Director of Drake & Scull Water and Power (DSWP).
As DSI's longest serving executive with 13 years behind him – Mr. Abu Soud is responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with existing and potential business partners, and identifying opportunities for expansion along with stimulating demand for the water and power solutions. He has overseen multiple areas including leading the company's regional expansion effort and delivering highly complex projects under challenging circumstances.
Mr. Abu Soud has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from the University of Hull, UK as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) (specialising in mechanical engineering) from Southern Illinois University, USA.

 Mr.George Grant Commercial Director |
George Grant is Commercial Director for Drake & Scull Water and Power. George oversees the audits of Operations Management, Contract Advice, Project Controls, Risk Management and overall financial performance against budget for compliance. He ensures that the Commercial Policies are formulated based on the strategic plan and annual budgets laid down by the DSI Board and Executive management. George also advises DSWP Management on the risk assessment of the commercial aspects of all enquiries and formulates commercial plans specific to projects.
George has nearly 4 decades of global construction experience and is a member of prestigious associations like the Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) and is registered with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC).

 Mazen Bachir Managing Director |
Mazen Bachir is the Managing Director and Chief Technical Officer of Passavant Roediger Germany, a subsidiary of Drake & Scull Water and Power. He works closely with the CEO to develop strategies and plans to maximise profits and identify new prospects. Mazen also leads the operational teams of Passavant to ensure that adequate and effective management systems are in place to properly monitor, report, review and control the operational and functional activities of the business.
Mazen has a decade of experience in the Water and Power industry, having served stints with ACWA Services in the UK and the UAE before joining DSWP. He holds an M. Phil in Chemical Engineering from UMIST in Manchester, England.

 Lu’ay Khdeir Business Development Director |
Lu'ay Khdeir is business development director for DSWP. Lu'ay leads the business development efforts and contributes to DSWP's business flow by devising and indentifying new strategies and areas.
Lu'ay has nearly 15 years of water and power experience in the Middle East, and has held engineering as well as corporate planning roles in reputed companies in the UAE.
Lu'ay holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Jordan and is a certified Project Management Professional from USA.

 Mr.Basheer Massad Operations Director |
Basheer Massad is the Operations Director at Drake & Scull Water and Power.
Basheer has worked for over 15 years in the Middle East, and oversees the functional
requirements of DSWP’s operations in the region and also monitors their compliance
with standard DSWP policy and procedures as set out by the QHSE department.
He holds a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from the Jordan University and completed
his MBA from the Leicester University. He is a member of the American Society of
Mechanical Engineers as well as the Jordan Engineers Association.
