On March 16th 2009, DSI PJSC becomes the first
multi-service contracting company to be listed on the
Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
1976
DSI is incorporated in Dubai, UAE.
1893
Bernard Drake founds Drake & Gorham,
a new electrical company with colleague
Marshall Gorham.
1964
Drake & Gorham and Arthur Scull
& Son merge to form Drake & Scull
engineering in the UK.
1966
DSI is established
in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
DSI completes works on King
Hussein Medical City in Jordan
and Gulf Hotel in Bahrain.
1967
DSI completes works on Intercontinental
Hotel & Conference Center, Riyadh, KSA.
1975
DSI completes work on Jumeirah
Beach Hotel.
1997
DSI completes work on the Dubai Chamber of
Commerce and Baynunah Tower Abu Dhabi,
an unprecedented structure, commissioned by
the Abu Dhabi Royal family.
1994
DSI completes work on Sultan Qaboos
Grand Mosque in Oman.
2001
DSI completes work on West Bay Complex - Four
Seasons Hotel in Doha, Qatar.
2005
- DSI establishes an Infrastructure,
Water & Power (IWP) operations
- Completes work on Kuwait State Audit
Bureau, Kuwait
2006
DSI offers 55% of its shares to the public through its IPO,
which was 101 times oversubscribed.
2008
DSI acquires `Gulf Technical Construction
Company' (GTCC).
2007
DSI completes works on the prestigious
Emirates Golf Club, the first PGA-approved
golf course in the Middle East.
