Overview
Drake & Scull International PJSC (DSI) is a regional market leader delivering world class integrated engineering
through design and build disciplines of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP); Civil Contracting; and Water,
Power and Infrastructure engineering. Since its formation in the UAE in 1966, the Company has been providing engineering
procurement and construction services to large and complex commercial, tourism, transportation, telecommunications,
industrial projects for private and public customers principally in the Middle East and North Africa region.
The company's expertise spans from providing complete solutions through Design and Build,
to Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC), as well as maintenance and operations of District Cooling Plants.
Through its distinctive operational model DSI has achieved an indisputable prominence, and a renowned regional
reputation for delivering fast track projects as per the client's requirements of time, cost and quality.
DSI engineers have extensive international experience on projects of complex size and scope. The Company provides state-of-the-art technologies and world-class project management skills, combined with its proven business consulting and industry-leading safety programs, to ensure schedule certainty and long-term value on its clients' most challenging projects.
The Company completed many prestigious projects in the region, and helped shape the region's skyline from within. DSI portfolio includes landmarks in the UAE such as the Baynunah Tower and the Shangri-La Hotel in Abu Dhabi, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai, Kuwait State Audit Bureau in Kuwait, Four Seasons Hotel in Qatar and Sultan Qaboos Great Mosque in Oman among others.
DSI was awarded the "MEP Contractor of the Year" and the "Medium MEP Project of the Year" awards at the 1st Middle East MEP Awards, December 2007 and in December 2008, it was awarded the "MEP Contractor of the year" title for the second year running at the 2nd Middle East MEP Awards in Dubai UAE. In December 2009, DSI was also awarded the "Sustainable Design of the year" title for its MEP works on the world's largest Platinum LEED project the "King Abdullah University for Science and Technology" (KAUST), in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The fully Integrated Management Systems of DSI, certified to ISO 9001:2000, ensure full compliance with building, health and safety regulations, as well as sound environmental and energy management procedures.
We are a leader through experience, and we have established our regional leadership position over 44 years of successfully completing the most complex projects.
DSI PJSC was incorporated on the 17th of November 2008, and was listed on Dubai Financial Market on the 16th of March 2009.
