Recruitment Process
A job at Drake & Scull is a coveted opportunity to work with the best in the industry and on high profile, prestigious projects all around the region. Drake & Scull receives hundreds of resumes each day, which go through careful sorting and examination.
Here is a brief breakdown of the Drake and Scull recruitment process:
Stage 1 : Upon short listing the qualified candidates; a telephone interview is conducted.
Stage 2: Personal interview with the HR Department at the DSI offices.
Stage 3: Final interview session with the concerned department head and managers.
Stage 4: Formal letter of offer presented and reference checks carried out.

Resume Tips
Based on our years of experience in reading CVs, here are a few tips for your resume:
- Kindly ensure that your resume is typed in English. Non-English CVs will not be considered.
- Clearly mention the position applied for in the email subject.
- Please state your email address and your telephone number clearly.
- Your CV should contain the following sections:
- Personal Details, which include: your name, nationality, email address, telephone number, driving license status and your current visa status.
- Education Details: please mention your latest educational degree first, the name of the college/university studied at and the scores achieved. Also, ensure that you include the specialization undertaken while pursuing the degree.
- Career History: please mention the job title, the company worked for, duration of employment and responsibilities undertaken in this period.Additionaly, mention your last employment first and then go back in reverse chronology.
- Achievements: clearly state the achievements and milestones you’ve reached in your employment previously.
Interview Tips
- Dress in a conservative manner – Please be dressed in clean and crisp business attire for your interviews.
- Be on time – Leave a little early to allow for traffic delays.
- Know the company and why you want to work with us – We like to hear what you know about us.
- Maintain eye contact – It is a sign of confidence and a definite plus in your favor.
- Have passion - Be able to express why you want to work in that field/industry and what you do to further your knowledge (books, blogs you read). Ensure that you’ve made all the points you wanted to make, and do not leave any points up for assumption.
- Answer the question asked - Candidates often don't think about whether they are actually answering the questions asked by their interviewers. Make sure you understand what is being asked, and get further clarification if you are unsure.
- Ask questions - At the end of the job interview make sure you have some questions to ask. If the interviewer doesn't offer you a chance, ask to ask. It reinforces your strong interest in the job.
